Yes...I saw it too. I have a drawing tablet for my pooter...it's really difficult to use tho and if I want to take it seriously I need some better software. (and some talent would be nice) ;D

I think it's admirable for someone of his stature and reputation (and age) to dabble with new technology - I'm not too keen personally on some of the images he's made but others are really attractive, although not very subtle - still don't think they compare favourably with paints, pencils and other traditional materials but I am a bit of a Luddite I suppose.

I remember way back when A Bigger Splash first played in the cinemas. Not only was it extremely rare to see documentaries on a big screen in those days, but the subject matter was highly unusual and a real eye opener. Therefore, David Hockney has stayed frozen in time in my mind, since I have only come across very sporadic news about him over the years. I can't imagine him as an old man or how he has traversed all of these decades.
But if comforts me to know that he is still around.
