#4 -- Those are called crawfish chimneys in Louisiana. You look out for them when buying a house, as finding them on the lot is a sure sign of low, damp ground.
#7 -- But taste so much better than lobster!
I never knew that about their only eating at night.

Presently, the crawfish available are very small due to the very cold winter we had. In the weeks to come they will fatten up as will the price I'm sure.
