Thousands of protesters are in Madison today. The comments below this article are illuminating. Why is it always the blockheads who use the flag as an avatar or who loudly proclaim their patriotism? It must be the religion they have in order to keep from thinking. One comment though, deserves notice: It's a little late to be protesting now. The time to do something effective about this was last Nov. But over half of registered voters were complacent and sat out the election. But there is another election coming in 2012, so the time to do something effective about this will come around again. This time, though, remember that ELECTIONS AND VOTES DO MATTER!There used to be bumper sticker commonly seen in Louisiana: "Louisiana is a Right to Work state -- the right to work for less". |
