There is a function on this forum that supposed to help you go to the last unread-by-you post in any thread. In other words, if you haven't been on all weekend and you open a thread that's garnered many posts since you last looked, using this function should take you to the place where the posts you haven't yet seen start, even if it's on a previous page of the thread. This SHOULD happen if you click on either the icon to the left of a thread title, or on the thread title itself. It would be immensely helpful if everyone could please test this out and report in this thread as to how it works (or not). Please tell which browser you were using for the test, too. Thanks so much!

Using IE9, I am taken to the latest thread, as evidenced by just clicking on the thread currently after this one ("Celebrating today") which took me to the last unread page.

Thanks, Kerouac. It should be taking you to your last unread post in a thread when you click either on the 'new' icon or on the thread title within the board To clarify: The icon only shows up next to a thread when a board is opened. That is the one involved in this function. The other "new" icon shows up on the Main Page of the forum. It will either be a blue dot or a revolving star or even a little picture, depending on the skin used. Those are not pertinent to the function we're testing here. Also, I should have mentioned in the OP -- please let any page finish loading completely in order to better judge whether the function is working or not.
