Beautiful clouds and fields. Nice flat biking terrain.
You seem to "take the lane" when you ride, instead of trying to hug the edge of the road. If so, does that work pretty well, and are drivers reasonably courteous, vs finger-giving?

lola - Most of the roads I take are lightly trafficked country roads and carry very little traffic so I ride as I please but I am always listening for cars approaching from the rear. When I hear a car I just move to the side and let the cars by. Bikes are an accepted fixture on roads here in France so drivers are expecting to see cyclists on the road and are very courteous and respectful of them. Biking is part of the culture. No one has ever given me the finger.
