Slackline is the opposite of tightrope. The cord is purposely loose, so if you are shaking, you make the cord swing back and forth. I think these people are crazy, but they are not completely crazy, because slackline exploits also come with a lifeline around one ankle or some other body part to prevent you from plunging to your death.

ah ok i always thought it is called a slack line onl when it is near the ground and else a high line, but i suppose really it is the same thing. either way, i can't walk more than three steps on one. that is, there is one in our climbing gym that i did cross, but there you have a rope on tope to hold onto to give you a lot more balance (like, a rope hanging down you hold on one side that goes with you)... that one is about ten metres high and that was already enough to almost die of fear while i was on it - one like those in the videos - i don't think i'd ever dare...
