One of the odd rules here is that men must wear long trousers to dinner. No dress code for women.
Women can wear flip flops and thong should they wish. Unfortunately none have done so far.

The Mediterranean diet is how people ate 60 years ago on the Greek island of Ikaria, with a control group in Sardinia. It was not composed of souvlakia or overdressed pizza. Most of their protein was pulses (beans) and fish.
Unfortunately many parts of the Mediterranean world have seen a deterioration in diet.
