We have lots of amazing subjects in the image bank, but I came across a subject that we have not covered officially, so I think we should give it a try. This exterior link is what inspired me: Maybe we can't find photos as amazing as some of them, but we can certainly try our damnedest. To start, here is an old photo from my Pierrefonds report:

Here's another one, but still not as well defined as I would like.

Nice topic and beautiful photos. The crepuscular (had to look that one up!) sunbeams from the link are indeed stunning. Here's a repeat from my American Southwest thread.

Great idea Kerouac , the sun shining through the trees creates a setting perfect for Merlin. Love the slot canon photo NYCgirl ... one day I hope to travel to Arizona and the SW. Must now search out your SW thread.

My you captured those beams brilliantly Kerouac!
Nycgirl - that is a totally fabulous photo. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Lugg - those are beautiful peaceful photos - I can almost hear Bing Crosby crooning to Grace Kelly;D

Those beams should never have existed in the first place. A big construction truck had just driven through the Tuileries and raised huge clouds of dust!

I'd forgotten about this thread. These are oldies of mine from the Clouds thread. (Kimby-check out yr #455, p.16 there)

My word Bixa, that is a stunning photo! I absolutely love it ;D When did you get so lucky and be there at the precise moment the sun blinked through the moss?

Thanks, Htmb!
Thank you, Tod. I took tons of pics of mossed trees when I was home. The moss is so dense that it was easy to move around & get the sun to be all artful for me.

Super shot, bixa!
K2, if sunset was merged with evening sky, will this thread be combined with "light", which has a lot of nice sunbeam images?
