I have to show my daughter this , she will love it....and also so that she can tell me the species. At frst i thought they were tiger sharksbut now i do not think they are.

Having now shown my daughter she tells me that they are Caribbean Reef sharks and reminded me that we have snorkelled with this species off the coast of Belize - they made me very apprehensive but I knew that they are not known to attack people. Although, as my daughter says feeding them by hand is perhaps irresponsible.
The You tube video were filmed in the Bahamas and the diver has induced tonic immobility by the stroking and then this continues when they are upside down. My daughter also tells me that Killer whales throw large sharks such as great white etc onto their backs too having learnt this will paralyse them allowing them to be more easily killed.
