It didn't occur to them to maybe dig out a ramp and let her walk out? The poor little thing hotfooting it across the sand does make for adorable footage.

Patrick, they managed to get rid of mama during the lasso process. I hope you took notes. I did. If I'm menaced by elephants, I now know to yell "Go! go! go! go! go!" and they'll just scat.
