That place strikes me as a nightmare to heat in the winter. Good natural light though.

I think it is the corporate headquarters of Colas, a construction company. One of my downstairs neighbours is a construction foreman for Colas. Obviously it gets thicker in back.

Just that little bit of widening part way up made it look as though it was meant to be that way, rather than simply a design to compensate for a corner lot.
