Terence Hill - superstar of comic spaghetti westerns in the 1970's, even though his real name is Mario Girotti. His co-star was often Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli) and the high point of his career was perhaps the excellent film 'My Name is Nobody' with Henry Fonda. As a child, he survived the bombing of Dresden (his mother was German).
Tenzing Norgay - often referred to as Sherpa Tenzing, was a Nepali Sherpa mountaineer. Among the most famous mountain climbers in history, he was one of the first two individuals known to have reached the summit of Mount Everest, which he accomplished with Edmund Hillary on 29 May 1953.
