I just didn't want to be saddled with proposing the next movie. Yeah, right, sure, K.

Hmmm... I had a Danish idea, but that wasn't a drama.
11. Is it a Spanish movie?
|
|
|
Post by Jazz on Apr 7, 2010 15:53:59 GMT
11. Not Spanish. Is is very funny in parts. We could think of it as drama/comedy/human nature. A foreign film, 1980-2000, that won the Oscar for best film. A drama/comedy(?) with a female lead. Not French, Indian or Spanish. Some of the actors are still working, some are not and some are dead.

Yes! Its Babette's Feast...Christina' you are the grand winner! Sorry, Kerouac, I thought of it more as a drama, although it has delightful some delightful humour. I haven't seen it in years.

It has elements of both and I think it depends on your mood. mmm...I'll watch it again and report back. I thought you didn't want to have to choose a film. Christina, we await you.

I don't think I would have thought of it as a comedy. Like Jazz, I remember it more as a drama. A light-hearted one, maybe...
OK, so I am getting into the way-back machine. I am thinking of a movie from the first half of the 20th century.
