Neither Entebe or Entebbe seems to work with Queenstown.
So I will continue with
Stoke-on-Trent - apparently a pottery capital in England

Gévaudan - French village in southwest France which has remained famous for its monster -- the beast of Gévaudan. It attacked from 88 and 124 people between 1764 and 1767, in most cases fatally. It is assumed that it was some sort of huge wolf, but supernatural theories abound.

Danbury -- city in Connecticut, USA. Important facts: It is nicknamed the "Hat City" because it was the center of the American hat industry for a period in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The mineral danburite is named for Danbury while the city itself is named for Danbury in Essex, England

This is the 14th time we have used Senegal in this game, obviously an ultra popular set of letters. (Other places in Senegal have also been used but with individual place names. I'm sure that we will use it again (and I am not excluding myself) but when we remember past uses it will always be better to think a bit harder and come up with other replies.) And that's why I won't use Galway this time. thinking... thinking... thinking....
Essen - industrial German city in the Ruhr valley - but I confess already used 7 times plus one more by Amboseli for the Belgian city of the same name.
Perhaps this game is reaching its limit....?

Els Bells - fictional Spanish resort from Carry on Abroad. I have a close friend whose maiden name is Ell and her married name is Bell. Esperanza -- a municipality in northern Dominican Republic. There are quite a few places named Esperanza. Unsurprisingly most are in Latin America, although there are a couple of communities with that name in Mississippi and Texas.
