Good topic and lots of fun photos! I know I've taken lots of storefront photos but for the life of me don't know where they are.

Some rather elderly scans off prints: (Note to self, must go back and start again with the negatives!)

More from Paris: Remind me not to buy a hat here: And I can imagine this is as a film scenario: for years, the shy, self-contained locksmith yearns for the stiff, unbending corsetière next door, until one day he discovers her secret and the key to her heart (or, depending on the sort of movie you prefer, unlocks her combinations):

Yes. Privatised from the old Post Office Telephones in Maggies rush to make more Tory millionaires. They still have a youth cult. One of my neighbours, age 59, who worked there, was recently summonsed to the boss's office. He was told "take a years money, tax free, and never darken our doorstep again"

That's sad to hear, Mossie.
I'm loving these storefronts. I chuckled at Picky Poo, Citizen Chain, and the dinosaurs at LV.
I recognize #16 from Ratatouille. If I ever saw it in person, I'd be as aghast as the rat character was.
