Just so I know when the best time to pop in is, what sort of time are you most likely to be on here ?
(please give times, and what time zone you're in) . . .
Me? This sort of time, which is between 7-9pm on GMT. And sometmes in the afternoon, 2pm-4pm GMT.
It's a two-way street, people ...

I am GMT-6. That means it's 9:21 pm in Merrie Olde and 3:21 pm where I am.
I'm on all day, on & off, usually. I get online in the morning (my time) @9:30. Lucky for you & everyone, I tend to stay up late.

I think there will soon be more activity here, Gyro, unless it is only Bixa's presence after which you are lusting.

I was just going to suggest that perhaps the OP is not the sort of character with whom we wish to associate.
Realistically, there will be people coming in from all over, many of whom we don't know. So, it will behoove all of us to pop in randomly to see what's going on.

I am here ALL the time, I allow myself a few hours to eat and sleep but other than that I am too scared to leave this place in case someone takes it away.
GMT +2 from about 6am to 8pm weekedays, with a few toilet and food breaks in between.

I think there will soon be more activity here, Gyro, unless it is only Bixa's presence after which you are lusting. I would like to propose that, from now on, whenever anyone has to refer to me in any manner whatsoever, that the verb "to lust" be included in the referencing sentence.

Lust you forget, we lust it long ago.
Thanks for the compliment on the shoes, Jazz. They were built on a special lust.

I thought I would drag up the very oldest subject on this branch to see what it was like 3 years ago.

Great idea kerouac! So the Port is 3 years old, wow! I guess it was 3 months old when I found it - and I'm glad I did! I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun here - thank you to you and bixa!
(although I have to say, if it were truly "what it was like 3 years ago", I would have been directed immediately to this thread when I clicked on its title, instead of experiencing the added annoyance of being directed only to the branch... ahhh, those were the days!)

Yes, that is lustilly. Happy birthday Anyporters and the lusty crew.
I most often work at home, so I might pop up anytime, when I have a free moment. I see I'm in the same timezone as Bixa, thought she was one hour west of me. I do usually rise early, as I have clients in Europe and also because I'm simply more productive that way. Doubt I stay up as late as Bixa...

Recruit more people in Australia and Asia!
Well, we really need more people around the world to cover those who only get online at work, only in the morning, late at night, etc.

Definitely need someone for the late afternoon hours in my time zone. Everyone across the pond is in bed, and people in the colonies are at work with blocked computers. If I stay up late enough, it gets lively again.

I was up all night for the Oscars (since I had the next day off), which meant from midnight (when coverage started) to about 5:30 a.m. when it ended, Paris time. I did post a few times during that period, but I did not see a crowd of people online.

I need attention from HW right this very minute, but of course it's the wrong time of day/night for him.
Guess I'll toddle over to On the Menu in hopes that someone else can help me.
This forum needs more active members!
