The ad didn't mention the platform shoes that should be worn with the flared pants.
I don't remember sauna pants.

Some of the details on the tapeworm ad are disturbing. "No baths" "Easy to swallow"

Anyone who was anyone wore platforms in the 70's Here is Abba in full gear: They must have been the most unattractive (and uncomfortable) kind of shoes to ever make it main-stream. Awful. K, some dieters back then must have spent half their lives sick due to ingesting tapeworms. Gross.

Amazingly well brung up teens. All that coke guzzled down straight out of the bottle, and not a burp ;D ;D

They could never put that much Coca-Cola in a refrigerator in North America these days, because they are all filled with 40 containers of partially used condiments. As for the 3rd commercial from 1962, it is really cutting edge modern, because pizza was just beginning to be discovered in places outside of NYC and Chicago in those day. I bet people out on the boonies even wondered "what on earth are those people eating?" (But I know that by 1965 even my family was putting frozen pizzas in the oven.)

Nice to see they had gone to to drinking their Coke out of glasses by 1962 and no longer chugging out of the bottle.
Did anyone ever have one of those doohickeys on the wall to open bottles? I have never seen anything like it.

They were all over the place, but I think perhaps only in the garage in my house (if at all). Usually they were just on the Coke machines. doohickey = "bottle opener"

I've never seen that kind of bottle opener before. And wow, did those two ever guzzle down the coke fast! The bottle was empty within seconds, that must have took some practice.

That's why the Coca-Cola company was obliged to keep making bigger and bigger bottles. What are they up to now? Two litres?

3 liters in the US! Yep, it's true. Such a huge bottle. And 10 Liters? Is this for real?

I can't imagine a 10 liter bottle of Coke being practical except to use for slopping the pigs.
