It's not a bad little article but with only one photo it gives absolutely no idea of the event.

I wonder if photographs of the demolition of the building would make an interesting addition to this brilliant report.

I have to keep an eye on their website. The expo closed forever 100 minutes ago.

The building is starting to come down today, live on the internet. I will try to go and see for myself tomorrow.

I had a look for it while in the metro crossing the Seine on Thursday afternoon. It was still there, but obviously it won't be next time I go to Paris.

These wrecking tools always remind me of some prehistoric beast tearing into its prey. To add the fumes from its nostrils really reinforces the effect

I noticed that immediately as well. Those incredibly strong jaws chewing at the building...

There is another upcoming demolition in the 13th arrondissement, and another avant-garde group has been allowed to occupy the warehouse in question for a little while to expose their art. Unlike the mad rush to the Tour 13, I was the one and only visitor when I went there yesterday. It's only about 4 blocks from where the Tour 13 used to be.

Was the artwork for sale? I really liked the abstract/flowery paintings in the first pictures you post.

I'm sure that everything was for sale, but since it wasn't an official art gallery, I imagine that they are not allowed to post prices in such a context. But one merely needed to ask.

Yaaaay ~ I'm trying to catch up with everything I missed while I was gone and am very happy to see this new version of the temporary street art gallery. The very first easel art photo made me think it was going to be rather mundane student-type work, but then it really took off. I loved how you showed a wide selection and also the close-ups of some pieces.
