Since I wake up to the news report (not Fox) on the radio each morning, I thought I dreamed this. Apparently not..... No Tweets, Instagrams, iPhones at Olympics, authorities declare......According to Russian news site Svoboda, the ban will including all mobile devices and tablets, including iPhones and iPads. Fans may be banned from carrying in professional camera gear as well.[/i] Could this just be another Fox News exaggeration of the facts?

Not even Putin could get away with that. As flawed as modern Russia is, it is not North Korea.
I checked for French articles and came up with the following: 1. The London Olympics had the same rule, but it was not strictly applied. 2. The IOC told USA Today that photos taken by journalists could be posted on all of the social networks.

No, those rules are just for the accredited journalists, not the public at all.
