I took this test a first time and learned that I was "as British as a Dalek serving afternoon tea." I suddenly became afraid that the test was rigged to come up with that result no matter what one replied, so I went through it again giving the absolute opposite of what I thought and the result was "You're probably American." So now you can try it yourselves. How British are you?

Totally American.
Sure, why not?

I have always been disturbed that quite a few people thought I was British before I ever even set foot on British soil for the first time -- even when they heard me talk!

"Probably American, but on a couple of questions I didn't like any of the answers.

I am, of course, "As British as Stephen Fry walking a corgi outside Buckingham Palace"
That'll be all the questions about tea. Even if I think Stephen Fry overdoes the ubiquity just a bit.

"As British as Kevin Costner's Robin Hood", i.e. "Which is to say, not very British at all. But you’re probably a much happier, more well-adjusted person for it."

I am highly insulted, I got "probably American" ;D ;D ;D ;D. The only place I've been to in America is Las Vegas

I got 'probably American'. At least I knew what a 'loo' is. hehe... mossie, looks like Las Vegas made quite the impression on you. But don't worry we won't tell - What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vagas'

I took that one yesterday. Well... I got : You've finally lived long enough in France for other people to notice your existence! What that means, I don't know.
I call BS, though. Full of spelling mistakes: Johnny Holliday? DeGalle?

I only looked at the first few questions. I took the whole think as a stereotypical, tongue-in-cheek joke.

I got, no surprise, "probably American". The slight hesitation in their rating may be because I admitted to that cup of tea I had today.
Mossie, I'll bet you got classified as American because you're such a straightforward guy. The test seems to equate Britishness with self-effacement.

For the Canadian test, I got 15/20.
I didn't try the French one because it's obviously an American joke.

You got 17 questions correct out of 20 total. That's 85.0%, Eh!
I just have that kind of memory and guess-work to cope with those sorts of random facts, I think. But remember where I put my glasses... eh?

Oh, I did fine on the random facts -- I did live in Canada for 18 years so can visualize a quarter. What I didn't know were the quotations from the Prime Ministers and the name of the first astronaut.

I'm as Britsh as Stephen Fry walking past Buckingham Palace with a corgi which is OK. Didn't do well in the French one (scored 45) and I gave up on the Canadian one... fun tho...

Well, I took all of these tests again and I'm absolutely British, Canadian and French. Which just means that I am able to game the quizzes.
