Well, have you all even tried to make it, now that you see how easy it is? Or perhaps you only read the last couple of posts in each thread, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Oh, I have no intention of buying it. I just want to know where it can be bought in case of an emergency. Every time I take the Indonesian ferry between Java and Bali, I immediately look for where the lifejackets are, too, even though I have no intention on using one.

*earnestly tries to imagine a breadcrumb emergency*
No intention of using a lifejacket? Is that because of the famous Robert Shaw line in Jaws?

I always know when mockchoc has visited us when I see the Panko thread on the board. One day,I will try. I saw it in the seafood shop when I was in NY and thought of you. The Panko Queen you are!

Believe it or not, I still have not found panko in any of my local stores, and yet it is mentioned constantly on French cooking shows as though it is available everywhere. I just keep running old pieces of baguette through the grater of my food processor, and that seems just fine.
