I know you're out there. I don't do it often but I love to listen to Ravel's Trio for piano, violin and cello. It it some of the most haunting music I've ever listened to. I first remember hearing it when a movie Un Coeur en Hiver came out in the early 90's and this music is actually one of the "characters" so to speak.

I like Ravel, too! unfortunately, his "bolero" has been heard almost too often and doesn't bring as much pleasure to my ears as it used to.

I remember posting this as I had just viewed that film and what an the impact it had on me. ALL the actors were superb,and, it was very intense. Had it not been for this film I would very unlikely have even started this thread. Such the neophyte I was, Watch the film: Un Couer En Hiver
