We don't seem to even have a thread dedicated to general classical music. While the old master musicians are fabulous, I am particularly intrigued by young artists who have been attracted to 'old' music rather than what most of their peers are listening to, especially since they impart a special energy to their interpretation.
Here is a harpsichord virtuoso born in the 1990's, Jean Rondeau.

Lovely idea for a thread. I recommend the tv series Mozart in the Jungle as a way to sneak classical music up on people who think they don't care for it.
I was particularly tickled while watching one episode when I recognized my landlords' daughter, who plays in a youth orchestra in Mexico City. She is at 1:47-1:48 ~
