Not surprisingly, I am always interested in photos of Paris, particularly those taken by other people, so I hope to see as many as possible.
It is even more interesting since, except for my recent 'flood' report, I rarely stray as far south as the Seine.

I second this sentiment. There *cannot* be too many Paris photos, full stop.
Hope you are having a lovely time htmb, that's a part of town I always felt a teensy bit déclassé in. I am jealous, but at the same time happy for your good fortune.

Apologies, Htmb -- I was having a fight with my computer, so arrived late to this excellent thread.
Of course I am most interested for my own reasons, and enjoying it for your wonderful photography, but it's also perfect as a companion to Kerouac's recent flood coverage.
From your first and third pictures, there appears to be barge traffic on the river, although it barely seems possible looking at the clearance below the bridges. And the pictures featuring the tree in the water point up the dangers of navigation on a flooding river.
As for everything else ~ sigh ~ SO beautiful! You've really captured the quality of the rainy days light and your compositions are a gorgeous tribute to a gorgeous city. Okay, enough. I'm going back to enjoy it again!

I'm almost speechless over the latest pictures, but .............. DAZZLING! The fifth one down in #12 alone is worth the price of admission.

Thanks! That grouping of roses was far and away my favorite to photograph.

You certainly got there at the right time to enjoy the first blooming of the roses, despite the rain. Ours here are pretty much finished.

Stop! I've been out taking plant pictures, too, but with nowhere near the glory and artistry of your photographs. You are just a stunning nature photographer, Htmb!

I am reminded of some of the travel websites where certain people are so obsessed by what clothing is appropriate in Paris: no shorts, no jeans, no athletic footwear, no bright colours...

I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed photo #3 in reply #21 where you have purposely hidden Notre Dame behind the trees, just like tourists often do.

That was not meant to be more than a suggestion of the cathedral, while giving the viewer an idea of the mass of humanity out front.

I'm surprised to see how high the water still is.
The roller blading used to be on Friday nights -- about 15 years ago.
