Thank you for this post, Kerouac. That's what I had expected, but certainly not what I could see from the apartment.

Agree with lugg; a wonderful series. You had a great vantage point where you stayed.

Awww ~ on one hand sorry to see this "outside" part of the series ending, but on the other, eager to see what you'll record on your rambles around the new place.

Here are photos taken outside the apartment where I stayed for seven weeks. On the side street, looking towards rue de Rivoli. From the street corner on the Quai. While I couldn't see the Eiffel Tower from my windows because of heavy foliage on the trees, stepping out onto the sidewalk in front of the building would reveal this image. Caryatids were a nice feature. A once in a lifetime opportunity! I'll be forever grateful.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. All the pictures that I have in my imagination about Paris. Even the striped tops and berets on the girls, the procession of the archetypical Parisians and tourists, the happy 'lovers' with their 3 babies and the life on the river. The cyclist with the reflections is a great pic and the sunset skies are a bonus. You even covered the architecture and little streets full of character. Thanks for your portrait of Paris, I'll be dipping in to it often.

Super thread. I have often used that bus stop to catch the 75 back to Mairie de la XIXe
