Excellent. No 7 made me laugh, I know the old insult when a woman is accused of dressing in old curtains, but carpet must be most uncomfortable.

I've sort of got mixed feelings about this. One part of me applauds loudly at the photos, they are really good. However, one part of me thinks how long must it have bloody took for each one to be just right and amusing as they are, someone spending days, weeks, months, sitting waiting for the colour/clothes of a passing person to match that of a random painting. I realise as higher beings we now have the time to spend time on 'Art' and 'Humour', but one of the things that gets me is, you know how sometimes you are just in the right place at the right time to catch that special shot? But it is rare. So to catch a series of them must mean plenty of waiting round for the one in a million, time after time.
Or, logistically, do you wait by one painting and wait for someone suitable to go past, or do you haunt the halls of the gallery following someone who might be a good subject until they just so happen to pass by a suitable painting? Imagine the frustration if you match a person with a painting but they then don't go near it. Or the frustration of nipping to the toilet, hurriedly, so you don't miss out on something. Then the naggling feeling you might have done.
I appreciate art - or at least mostly - but being of a practical bent I don't get half of it.

There is a juice stand in Avignon during the festival, the kind that has about 80 different fruits and vegetables on hand to make anything you want like ginger-cucumber-coconut or whatever. Whenever the drink you have ordered comes out the same colour as the clothes you are wearing, he asks if he can take a picture. I don't know what he does with them. I have been photographed once.
