I watched Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk again today. I still love it and do not really understand why he makes certain straightforward movies and then those others that are totally warped (Tenet, Inception...) and just cause me fatigue. But it's interesting that he made Cillian Murphy sort of an accidental villain in Dunkirk and then handed Oppenheimer to him on a platter. Felt guilty perhaps?
Of course one of the things that really appeals to me in Dunkirk is knowing that beach in Malo-les-Bains very well and how peaceful it is now.

I dislike Dunkirk - I find it totally inaccurate historically speaking. And that story on the boat pisses me off. Only my opinion though.
