You can either walk (less than 2 km) or take the bus. Bus no. 2 leaves from platform 2 in front of the train station (destination is: Brugge Centrum - Station - Assebroek Oude Stelplaats). Get off at the second stop 'Assebroek Boldershof'. If you don't mind the walk: check google maps. Fill in Station Brugge as your departure point and Baron Ruzettelaan 143, 8310 Brugge as your destination and you will get detailed directions.

Dewi, I hope you tell us what the hostel was like!
They have a few (3) single rooms, at a reasonable rate.

The hostel was fine Though I did not see inside the single rooms Breakfast much better than you get in French Youth Hostels.
Bus 2 actually stops running pretty early - before 8 pm But I got one of the other two listed on the website without much bother ( don't remember if it was 20 or 21) Bus driver very helpful

Good to know, thanks! I stopped of in Brugge from the train, but would have enjoyed waking up there. Lovely town.

@dewi We, in Belgium, say 'thank you' when someone looks things up to give directions.

There is a difference between north and south I guess, me living in the south would not have waited for a thank you, I would not have bothered to answer when there is no 'hello'.
Grumpy me ?

No, it is odd. Sadly some people have never been taught to greet and say thank you.
