We all know Disney parks. Was wondering what parks you like to go with your children or grandchildren or nephews or alone.
Yesterday we were at Azur park. On the Riviera. Hence the name. M We like the Karl because my wife doesn't like such attraction parks but this one us a pay per play : entrance is free. You get a card for the kids and adults but beers and watch the kids.
Which is what I manage to do until closure time. At that point the beer helping I guess I boarded the ejection seat. You get strapped in some kind of a ball fastened to big elastic that are tightened then the ball is released. Mach 3.
My daughter went on 'sky rider'. I did it once. Beuh.

Yes, those are the only places where I have been in recent years. I don't think I've been on a ride for at least 5 years. Nevertheless, I love those places (even the Disney ones) because they give so much joy to the children.

I would like to go to the Puy du Fou some day, a park which does massive shows about the history of France. They got in trouble recently because their BIG show was performed in front of an audience of 12,000. It needs a big crowd because it uses about a thousand participants (who unfortunately work as free volunteers). But the current covid rules only allow an audience of 5000 for any event in France. The Puy du Fou thought they were clever and put up plexiglas panels to divide the audience into three groups of 4000. The authorities decided otherwise, so they are back down to just 5000 every night for the show.

Not for a long time so far back I cannot be sure. I have never really enjoyed theme park rides although I have tr5ied to enjoy them. I just feel ill after many.
When my children were younger we used to go relatively often to UK parks and did the Disney/ Universal / Epcot parks in the US etc. when they got a little older . My favourite memory though is of LEGOLAND in Denmark , we went on my daughter's 8th birthday with some Danish friends and had such a wonderful day, perfect for young children - it was during the Summer of 1995 so we also had fabulous weather. We also loved the Danish Sommerlands which were a novelty to us then.
