It is. Back home tomorrow and I'll start sorting out the photos.
Mossie, enjoyable though.

last travel update - reached home this afternoon and photos and report may be delivered in the next few days. I'm off again though Tuesday morning for a couple of days so I need to dab in and get it done.

I get up this morning and here is no internet. Fortunately and possibly because I am a bit of a thorn in their side, an engineer came round and fixed it fairly quickly.

the homely pleasures of such a trip -- a pleasurable lunch up in the hills, the possible need for hot water bottles, for instance. Hah! Didn't need any. That was a bit of a surprise but a good one in any case.

We are still enjoying the now world renowned song Jerusalema. Our President Ramaphosa delivered a challenge some weeks ago for a sort of competition as to who did the best moves. It is wonderful to watch the staff on this Zim Game Park do their stuff, but the elephants are what steal the show!

Oh, that is just wonderful, Tod! The elephants are great, but it's their coexistence with the humans that blows me away. My two favorite parts are when the men are walking through that brown forest with the elephants behind them, and later on when they're on the road. The men are totally relaxed and there is a herd of elephants, one as big as a house, just strolling along behind them.
