I don't want to go to Morocco, particularly Casablanca which is modern and large, rebuilt after a huge earthquake in the mid-60s. The "biggest mosque in the world" doesn't do it for me. However, if you want to come to northern Spain (Atlantic side) I would consider it.
I even worked in Casablanca for a few weeks, but it never even crossed my mind to visit the mosque. But I had a lovely time at the end of every work day drinking beer and eating sea snails (pulled out with a pin) in a local bar with the ticket office supervisor. I also got taken to a local night club to see incredibly lascivious belly dancers going all out on a stage at the Negresco. But the most important thing to see was the incredible orchestra with so many violins. Contrary to what one might think, it was not sleazy at all because we went with my colleague's wife.
