I can sleep in the most incredibly noisy places, including when there are screaming babies. I learned this by spending endless hours waiting in airports for my standby flight or being given the last seat on a plane next to a family with a sick baby.
And I can eat almost anything if I have to, even when it is repulsive.
Unlike both of you, I absolutely cannot read in noisy circumstances. My ears tune into every conversation around me if it is in a language that I can understand and if it is some other language, I still cannot unhear it. Mobile phone conversations near me make things unbearable particularly on the bus or in the metro.
I see cities like maps and can recite chains of streets. I can also freak people out by recognising where their home or business is located via rather arcane clues. That said, I have zero interest in stalking anyone. On the other hand, I can't eat things that disgust me. I'm sure I could if in a concentration camp, but as I'm not, I'd prefer simply not eating.
I've just figured out Mossie's superpower. Due to his navigational experience you could blindfold him, spin him round three times and he'd always come to rest facing the nearest beautiful French waitress.
I can spend an entire day in my flat and not get bored.
1. spent at least 3 or 4 hours on the internet, half of it on games 2. watched 8 episodes of a series on replay 3. read some more of a strange lesbian novel that I bought the other day before the stores closed 4. watched a DVD of the movie Diva including the interview of the director Jean-Jacques Beneix 5. watched a lot of alarming news, including on the Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Brazilian channels even though I don't speak the languages
My eyes are a bit tired as the day ends.
The superpower for which I am still waiting is the desire to do spring cleaning.
