I'm sure that everybody will get a low score here. (That's a good thing.) Some of the questions should make you uncomfortable. Griffor purity test

Worked for me, pretty pointless. I got 105, don't know if that is good or bad, but shows that I have too much time on my hands during this boring lockdown period.

Oh, that's very pure. I got 147. I read somewhere that millennials are embarrassed if they get less than 150.

I got 163. I presume that is bad - but it depends on what your definition of bad is.

Does Mick's fib make his score go up?
Mossie, you are very decent!
I'm appalled by Kerouac's and Mark's scores, which are higher than mine, which also appalls me. (128)

It just won't work on my pad and I can't be bothered to fire up the computer in the office. Tomorrow probably.

There seemed to be three main categories in which they measure the purity; drink, drugs and sex. Seeing as I am teetotal and always have been and I've never taken any drugs....... they must weight the sex answers a lot differently and more heavily. That's my excuse.

Some of the questions were odd & freighted toward a Christian culture, i.e., do you have a Bible or do you go to church every week. You could answer yes to both of those & still have a score of 200+.

It worked on my phone. I got 87. Either I’m very dull or you lot do some very dodgy things (Bixa, I’m looking at you in a very different light....) I have certainly never wondered about the sex life of cartoon characters.

The cartoon one was my favorite question. Who thinks of this stuff?

Some people are obviously thinking about these things or the movie about Roger Rabbit would have never existed (and made by Disney no less!). And if you read about Betty Boop, you will find that she had to be modified because she was considered pornographic.

Some of the old underground comics had erotic subjects. I did flash on that when I saw the test question, but I can't say I ever spent any time thinking/wondering/fantasizing about that. Come to think of it, though, in the regular comics there was romance shown between Donald and Daisy and between Mickey and Minnie. Guess they got up to other stuff besides aw shucks, ma'am and coy glances.

I was just very average. only Mark, other than Muslims and Mormons I don't think I know anyone who was always teatotal. Most experimented a bit as teens or young adults. Another exception was children who had a severely alcoholic parent or other family member; I feel the same about tobacco because my dad died of a litany of tobacco-caused diseases when I was 15. That also put a damper on my cannabis use as it was often mixed with tobacco in joints.

I gave up the first time. Second time around - 117. But I do know how to spell what they're asking about, and how to use proper tenses. Still wondering how - and why - they rate carpet burns on a purity scale. Not everyone has shag pile (well, somebody had to say it). Yes. What is it supposed to be carpet burns ? Drug relayed ?
I know several people who died of alcoholism - some pretty close. I know some peopme who died of cannabis and hey doesn t anybody talk about it at least in Europe and i have seen people smoke tons of fags. Dad was smoking 3 packs a day at a time...

Yes. What is it supposed to be carpet burns? Excessive inflammation of parts of the body as a result of repeated rubbing on a carpet during, shall we say, energetic physical activity.

I do know how to spell what they're asking about, and how to use proper tenses. That's probably a side effect of your being a native speaker of English. I wonder where that "purity" test originated. This is for Whatagain so he can continue thinking about carpet burns & also because it features a Belgian beer ~
