Good Luck, Skipper. Remember "an hour to play and the last man in."

Thinking of you Mick - hope the cricket might be a distraction. And please be a ' sissy' and dose yourself up with the strongest painkiller you can get your hands on. No need to suffer if there's a better way.

You must be getting some powerful meds if you have to go to the hospital for treatment.

I guess so. Not yet too painful. Very itchy though.

Only way to relieve that is with an antihistamine tablet or two. Skin itch is the pits. I got it from sunburn once and never exposed myself to the sun like that again.

The latest treatment has rather knocked me back. I have dry skin dropping off me like snowflakes and have scabs in all sorts of places. Felt quite ill yesterday but a lot better today.
I am scratching at it in my sleep as the blood spots on the pillow can attest.
But it will get better. Next appointment in 3 months.

I bet I know of 2 grandsons whose grandfather won't let them out the door without sunhats and sun screen. Mick, do you remember there was a couple of years when all the Aussie team had thick moustaches? Chappell era, I think. That was to prevent sunburn to the lips when the sunscreens of the day weren't so good there.

Had a skin check this morning and out came the liquid nitrogen. I am sore.
But better than a knife of course.

Yes, for sure. Glad it was basically okay, Mick. I’d much rather have the liquid nitrogen than then knife. What did we ever do before the LN?
I hadn’t even realized this thread existed, or, more likely, I’d forgotten. My area with the stitches is healing nicely and the pathology report showed clear margins. I’m just glad it was on my leg and not my face.

Good news for both of you, very glad to read that. Reminds me it is time for my yearly visit.

Yes, all dried to scabs that should drop off in the next few days.

I had to have my face treated twice (although it wasn't cancer) and go to work with everything on display. Let's just say that I rarely moved from my desk at those times.
