She isn’t in any of the pictures btw. They are all models other than the train guard.

Ha, I was wondering if the passergers had been obliged to dress the part. But the area looks lovely.

Miscommunication on my part. I mean the cobbled street village.

Wait a few years and Auntie Wainright will have those same bags on sale for a snip.

When I was a little kid in England, my schoolbag looked exactly like those bags, but brown leather.
Yorkshire is nice -- good place for an outdoorsy photo shoot.

That’s because it’s The Cambridge Satchel Company.

I see from their website that the Cambridge Satchel co was founded in 2008. So they copied the design of old British schoolbags?

I'd forgotten all about satchels, very practical things when it came to carting school books about. I have always liked Yorkshire since I spent a very busy few months being taught to be a night fighter navigator there, a long time ago!!

Gosh, Mick, this is wonderful!
I've often contemplated visiting that part of England and also taking the steam train. Your daughter's lovely pictures really capture why that area draws in visitors.
When she's done with the work on the pictures, it would be great if she would let you show some of the ones she took just for herself.
Thanks for this!
