I didn't mean to depress everyone, but I did want to show that Paris is not looking normal at the moment.

Pretty much all of us are in the same boat.

We can all count on several fingers and toes the lousy - and tragic - things that have happened to each of us, our families, and our friends in 2020, but we must all appreciate the good things we do have, and hold out hope for a better future. I didn’t think the video was depressing at all, Kerouac, but rather a caption of where we are at the moment. Peace everyone,

Wishing Peace, Health and Happiness to everyone. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas.
(Hoping to be in better spirits to re-engage with topics and members in 2021, it has been a challenging year in so many ways.)

Mich, I know it sounds hokey, but you never bring glum spirits here, even though sometimes you have to report on very unhappy news. For you and many others, it's been one of the worst years ever. It can only get better from here, right? Thanks for the lovely Christmas wishes and the same back to you & yours.
Kerouac, I did not find your video the least bit depressing & admire how you turned Paris's end-of-2020 into something worth looking at again.

Thank you Bixa. At many points this year, COVID-19 was the least of my worries and I am hopeful for a better, healthier, happier and joyful new year.
Kerouac I did not find it depressing either. I thought it showed justice to the solitude but the true essence and beauty of the city awaits the return of the bustle from its citizens and visitors. I remember thinking I would gladly stroll the park and streets under my rain coat and umbrella. Thank you for sharing the video.
