Thailand has a problem in that the city, Bangkok, is sinking into the river. The ever-growing middle and upper classes are moving to the outer suburbs to live, many km of traffic jams to get to work / school. I read in a Bangkok newspaper that the typical family wakes very early, and leaves home almost straight away for the 2-3 hour commute. Breakfast is eaten in the car, the kids do their homework, parents make phone calls and business conducted. Toilet stops are not practical so in the shops you could buy properly designed bottles and pans and female funnels. Comfort is achieved and I suppose they have a " clean'n'go " business to take care of the hygiene. www.google.com/search?q=bangkok+urine+bottles&rlz=1C1CHZL_enAU848AU848&oq=Bangkok&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i59j69i60.10764j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

I used to drive in and out of Manila twice a day. Took a bottle with me but never needed to use it.

Oh! When we were young and our sphincter muscles were strong!
Those were the days...

You said it Questa! Having to pee immediately I feel the urge is damn awkward. So what do I do when roaming around Kruger Park where you have only certain areas with toilets like a picnic spot - and miles and miles between them? I used to try my luck right next to the motorcar with the door open but that is chancey too as other tourists are looking for a spot to do the same thing. So, I pack a couple of adult nappy-like / menstrual pads from Tena, and if push comes to shove I can relieve myself that way. I never go anywhere in Paris without one in my bag even though they have toilets all over the place - sometimes not functioning just when you've found one!
