Macron: Face the Nation Interview

Interesting interview on Face the Nation. It’s not often that I get to hear Macron speak for thirty minutes in English. He touches upon various topics such as travel, Covid vaccines, Covid aid to other countries. the climate emergency, current Russian aggression, etc.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but once again I am impressed by Macron. I may be wrong because I simply don't know enough, but it seems to me that he is poised to assume the role that Angela Merkel has had up till now. His answer to the rather tricky question about whether the US was perhaps wrong to pause exports of the J&J vaccine was quick, thoughtful, and diplomatic.
