I hope that all members received my message yesterday. I would like to thank you all again for your participation in the forum. The eclecticism and the quality of your contributions are exactly what I was hoping for. The first three months have been remarkable.
Thank you also to our visiting guests for taking an interest in this site. I hope that some of you will register and join in if you have the time. New members are encouraged to expand the variety of subjects and to add their own comments to existing posts.
Bixaorellana and Kerouac2 have spared no effort in contributing to the site, keeping things in order and assisting members who have questions. Wizard has sometimes appeared to deal with some of the more complex technical issues. I am thankful that those have been rare.
I would like to single out our most faithful member for special attention. Casimira, sometimes I wonder if you ever sleep, as you are always creating interesting posts and replying to others at all hours of the day and night. However, while Casimira is our only current “dynamo,” I am keeping an eye on other posters who are becoming increasingly active. It will be interesting to see how the situation has evolved three months from now.
Four original topics (not including games) at Any Port in a Storm have achieved more than 1000 views each. This is a major accomplishment. Bravo to Palesa for the 1866 views of “What’s for dinner tonight?” Congratulations to Gyro for the 1458 views of “Spring is in the air.” I cannot even find an appropriate comment for the success of Kerouac2 with “Paris summer fashion advice” and “Paris spring apparel,” which have been viewed collectively well over 4000 times in a period of just two and a half weeks. That is stunning for a forum the size of this one and attests to the large number of outside visitors who are interested in our site.
May our community of members from around the world continue to prosper.
