What's the last song you heard that made you cry? Some songs are just so emotional. For me it's not the words (I often don't even notice them), it's more the "feel" of the song. An it's not a "sad" thing just, well, emotional. (btw, this one did it to me when I just heard the song without the video - had no idea she was crying too)...

There is a song that just destroys me each & every time. That's pretty unfortunate, because it's one of those deathless hits that's been covered by everyone including Muzak so I'm sure to blindsided by it in public on a regular basis. (Shit ~~ now I'm sniffling over the example I'm checking in order to post it here!) Just listen to the song & don't get hung up on how over the top Juan Gabriel is. He's a great performer & it takes major balls to be that outré
AMOR ETERNO Juan Gabriel (Mexico)
Amor eterno, e inolvidable. Tarde o temprano estaré contigo Para seguir amandonos.
Amor eterno, e inolvidable. Tarde o temprano estaré contigo para seguir amandonos.
***** You are the sadness in my eyes, which cry in silence for your love. I look into the mirror and I see in my face the times I've suffered for your farewell. I tell myself to bury your memory. Well, I'm always thinking of yesterday. I'd rather be sleeping than awake, for the pain I suffer in your absence
*Chorus* How I wish, ay, that you still lived That your dear eyes had never closed, an that we were gazing at each other.
Eternal love, unforgettable -- Sooner or later I will be with you So we can continue loving each other.
I have suffered so much because of your absence From that day forward, I have been unhappy. Even though my conscience is clear, I know I could have done more for you.
In dark solitude I live now, The same solitude as that of your tomb. Your love is my most poignant memory of Acapulco.
*Chorus* How I wish, ay, that you still lived That your eyes had never closed, and that we were gazing at each other.

This is a tough subject for me -- I know that there are some songs that pierce my soul, but I just can't think of any right now.

imec, the link you put up doesn't work, it says it is 'disabled'
There are quite a few songs that can make me cry/think/feel sad, here's a couple:
The Rose - Bette Midler: Link with words:
And also I will always love you - Whitney Houston:

Hmm ~ That Duffy link is working for me.
You can right-click on any embedded youtube video here -- even if it says disabled -- and choose "Watch on YouTube". You can also just double-click on the embedded videos to see them on YouTube.
