I love the flashes of green, white and black as he's going through the washing machine. I always wondered what it looked like, it feels really disorienting IRL.

I can't see anything apart from the couple of comments. What's it all about, Alfie ?

I love Ocean Beach but was surprised, I guess, to see the report of Shark activity there. I guess I should have realised that all those seals up at the North end would make a good meal?

Gyro, you can't see the video? Iain, San Francisco is smack in the middle of the 'Red Triangle' which extends from Monterey to Point Reyes to the Farallon Islands. This is prime great white territory, they feed on the breeding seals. Around here we refer to great whites as the 'landlord'. Yikes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Triangle_(Pacific_Ocean)

"Around thirty-eight percent of recorded Great White Shark attacks on humans in the United States have occurred within the Red Triangle - eleven percent of the worldwide total"
I will not be going back in that water again!

Welle, it was only a restriction thing because I was at work. I took a peek at it when I was back home.

Oh, and because I got rolled big style last week on my yak, and because I think I'm quite spectacularly out of shape, I have one of these coming today or tomorrow :

What is it -- a life vest? Does the big part go in the front or the back?

Yes, it's a buoyancy aid. the 'big' part is indeed the front. With a pocket and everything.

Interesting. I suppose the point of the design is that it can't shift on your body the way a conventional life vest would.
Are you going to pose in it?

Well, the main aspect of it is the large amount of flexibility and space around the arms it gives you for paddling etc., as opposed to a convential 'vest'-style BA.
Although, out of context, I think it looks rather like a parachute ...
(and I got over 30% off the price too..)

I thought parachute too!
I can just picture you wearing that, with your long hair flowing over your manly shoulders!
Lets hope you get some weather to enjoy it soon!
