I'd like to say I had a really good time and it was wonderful and all that but I remember being pretty miserable and so far away from the music and got really sick and in a lot of trouble afterwards. It was a "heady" time, 10 of us crammed in a Volvo for the 8 hour drive from Long Island to Upstate.

Almost every year on the anniversary there would be something on TV about it. One year while my husband and I were visiting my mother we were sitting watching the news when sure enough they flash all these pictures. My brother, a known shit stirrer ,comments when they show the topless woman dancing ,"that's you isn't it C?" in front of my mother. I've never known my mother to reach for a remote ever before that . No further comments made as she switched on to Jeopardy.

Not sure what I did on those days but it was in Wadi Jizan, the Kingdom. My brother had just turned 4 months.
