Yeah. I remember that time I asked your opinion of the Phenomenology of Spirit and you rather floundered in your reply. I was sure it was something to do with gin... (But at least I could spell Phenomenology)

I just love the Echeverias -- they're such performers in and out of bloom.
Your Haworthia picture is exquisite -- the delicate darling!

A beauty! You know, I think I have one of those, but didn't know its ID. I do know mine doesn't like tons of sun. I'll check when I get home.

Yes I believe they can burn easily but no problem with our weak sun.

They are all so wonderful! I've got to make an effort and create a succulents garden closer to the house. Mine is looking like a jungle at the moment having had pumpkins growing all over everything. I did not bring back any more from Kruger Nursery but did bring back three Maroela trees.

That Stapelia is unusual indeed!
Hmmm. I might be asking you for a leaf off that Cotyledon the next time I see you. That blushing gray is only seen in succulents and I love it.

In good light (and we haven't had much of that lately) the leaves take on quite a pinkish hue. I acquired this from Kew so I have collection data too.

Mick you are going to have to nip off a juicy leaf or two,or three, and give them to me when we meet up. I will be home the next day to plant then in my garden!

Aww ~ Mick's li'l stinkers are blooming! You have such lovely Aloe. I really like the way you have them mixed in with the Agave -- they really complement and enhance each other.

Great pictures, Mick. Love that Aloe & you have quite a collection of huernia and their smelly cousins. If you ever get tired of taking care of a succulent collection, there's always this ~ But in the realm of the real, I think the one on the left in this picture is the most beautiful example of its kind I've ever seen ~
