I am not even going to look but ,on the topic, I saw a huge concrete lamp post (of the municipal variety)lying on the ground on my early morning walk.Broken in half it was.

I'm not looking at that either. I don't drive, and I don't drink and cycle (after a couple of close calls when I was much younger and more foolhardy). I can't bear gory photos, and don't need the lesson.
One great irony in life is that people are more foolhardy when they are young and have so many more years of useful life ahead of them. As we get older we tend to become more cautious, though objectively we have far less to be cautious about.
