Well, as you are probably aware, there have been few postings from me lately. It will probably continue as there are various, big home projects that are in the forefront for the next few weeks. So, I promise to come back but it will be toward the end of February or the first week in March. Lot's of stuff going, here at the homestead. Back soon!!!!!

Dear 'Quiet' Your posts are always great and I would love to hear about your renovations. The periods that I spent renovating my home were some of the happiest and most creative times of the last twenty years. It is exciting and you would be surprised how fascinated others are to hear about them, even the 'small' renos. I agree with Kerouac that it is good to have 'before' and 'after' photos. During all of my renovations I kept a house journal in a large black hard cover book (about 12" x 17"), meant for sketching that I bought inexpensively at an art supplies store. Here I put my own sketches of what I wanted to do, photos of 'before', quotes from the renovators and shots of the work as it progressed. Then, the final result. Or, if I was doing the work myself, notes on prices of supplies, where they were from, and how my work progressed from day to day. A house journal. Let me assure you that this is valuable during those times when perhaps the conversation is not quite 'stimulating'....whip out the 'house book' and you cannot control the flow!!!

Appears some of t63's remodeling and other stuff includes rearranging her photobucket site. Her links in the Winter photographs image bank thread are broken...

Well, I'm waiting for more excitement from T63! PhotoBucket is a bitch when you start rearranging stuff -- everything you posted elsewhere needs new links!
