There are a lot of funny local and regional shows and commercials that many people don't see if they don't live in a particular area. This is one of my favorites from the commercial category. It's from a local insurance company that caters to "high risk" folks. They run on late night television and have been funny for years (and use the same funny looking actor).... even better late at night "Honk if you see Vern Fonk" If you search youtube for "Vern Fonk" you find more funny commercials from over the years.

Here are a few more from a local comedy show. (oldies but goodies, and if you look close you'll notice Bill Nye The Science Guy before he went national) More

;D So funny. So that's what Seattle people do when they finally see the sun!
No wonder you need more vitamin D!

btw. spaceneedle, do you ever cross on the Huntington Border to come over to B.C.? That was the one I used to use most of the time when going to the States. I spent quite a lot of time in Bellingham shopping etc. It was either that or if I were in Vancouver I'd go over the border by the Peace Arch or Aldergrove.
When living in Oliver, I'd use the Osoyoos border quite often.

deyana, it depends on where I'm going. I generally use the Pacific Highway crossing in Blaine or the crossing in Sumas if I'm going to the Frasier Valley.

Somehow I don't think this Renault Twingo commercial would go over well in all countries. Grandma says "When did you start liking strawberries?"

Cute! The high-fivin' white guys are so stupid, they're funny -- my favorite kind of humor. For more very local, goofily fun commercialdom, check out #98 here.
