Hardly earthshaking travel news, but nice to know: www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2010/03/11/mtl-airport-shuttle-bus.html There is a new STM (Société de transport de Montréal) bus from the city centre to and from the Dorval (Trudeau) International Airport, with several stops at transport hubs and the downtown core. It is covered for people with a monthly bus and métro pass; if not it is $7 Cdn and this cost allows unlimited STM bus and métro use for 24 hours - hence someone on a business trip can take it to the client's or colleagues place of business, go to hotel even if not an easy walk, perhaps take the métro to an eatery elsewhere, go back to hotel, get up and take the airport bus back the next morning for that ticket cost. They are working on a train too though. By the way, the bus line is number 747 - easy to remember. We should think of how to better organise all these little travel tips on our board.

Will do. I checked there first but there seemed to be relatively few practical tips of the sort I've just added.

I don't think anyport has very many practical tips so far. Maybe your contribution will open the floodgates.
If you like, I can delete this thread so all the focus will be on the new one.
