Ugh - I don't even like hearing Marlon Brando bellowing in the movie. People need to learn to control themselves!

It's worth a trip to Gertie. One year I saw Elizabeth Ashley do a one act, (she also does an incredible imitation of Williams that she demonstrated in an interview afterwards) can't recall at the moment, but, was an amazing performance. Let me know if you make it down this way. Thanks Lola,I saw this,it was rescued from one of the piles of magazines from my recent purge...it was in a pile of ,I'm not sure if this goes yet...

A few years ago I found a paperback book of one of Tennessee Williams's plays in a used-book store here in Toulouse. There were few books in English and I was looking through them all. The book had his autograph inside the front cover, with some kind of dedication. It was selling for a couple of dollars (I think it was 10 francs) but I left it because I don't much like Tennessee Williams. After I got home, I thought, "that was stupid, it's probably valuable". I went back a few days later, but the book was gone.
