I just received a letter from Delta Airlines promoting their association with American Express and their air miles. Maybe others would post the details on their air mile credit cards so we can compare. Here are the details on Delta/American Express:
14.5% interest rate 25.24% interest rate on cash advances Penalty APR 27.24% Annual Membership fee $95.00 Transaction fees: $5 or 3% of amount of each transfer, whichever is greater Cash advance $5 or 3%, whichever is greater Foreign Transaction 2.7% of each transaction after conversion to US dollars. Penalty Fees: $19 if balance is lesss than $250 and $39 if more. Returned Payment $38
I can't understand why anyone would pay an annual fee for a credit card. Their interest rate does not concern me because I always pay the balance when the statement arrives. The cash advance and foreign transaction fees seem a bit much to me. I am also concerned how widely accepted the American Express credit card is accepted in Europe and other parts of the world.
Hope to see more for comparison.

Just about all cards in France require a fee. Mine becomes free only if I use it for 9000€ in payments during the year. I get just a 50% refund of the fee because I do manage to use it for 4500€ over a 12 month period.
The interest fees on cards always just about make me fall off my chair. I pay everything in full also, but I think the interest on most credit cards here runs about 18%.
