2 lightly boiled eggs from a local farm, one slice of wholemeal bread, toasted. 1 teaspoon of half fat Lurpak butter. Raspberries covered in no fat no sugar strawberry yogurt.
This is LIVING >she said bleakly<

I had sliced pork tongue with mustard, a rather unusual breakfast for me (and probably most of the world). I have to admit that pork tongue being much smaller than beef tongue, the tip of it looks far too much like "human tongue."

Huevos divorciados (one fried egg on salsa roja; another egg on salsa verde, all on tortillas, separated by chilaquiles and a few frijoles. Kind of a tourist gimmick, but quite good, nevertheless. Also a glass of grapefruit juice and several cups of café Americano.

A large bowl of Caldo de Cabeza, loaded with beef chunks, in a spicy and aromatic broth, at Tacos Los Rodriguez, in Pátzcuaro.

Hey! Guess what? I had the medium size bowl of caldo de cabeza today, and a large orange juice. Meat was still a bit stringy, as it was early in the cooking process.

I rarely report breakfast, as I just eat whatever leftovers are in the fridge, or some toasted bread, but this morning I'm having a couple of little buckwheat galettes - no milk, in that sense true galettes, but I did put an egg in the batter. These are leftover too, as I made them yesterday afternoon to wrap up other food, as one uses tortillas. And moka i.e. stovetop espresso.

Yesterday, I had a couple of tartines, the quintessential French breakfast -- butter and jam on a baguette. The only thing strange about this is that I had not had that for breakfast for at least a year, except when I stay in hotels.

lately we had so much leftover from dinner i had it both for breakfast and lunch - so today it was potato wedges and chicken wings and some mixed vegetables ...

I used some of the juice from last night's leeks to make soup with a beef cube and alphabet pasta. I can confirm the diuretic effect of leeks.

I've never noticed that, though I love leeks. They make you ... leak?
Me, more of the buckwheat galettes. I slept in until 8, which is very late for me.

I’m trying to vary breakfast instead of the same toast and Marmite every day.
Bacon and tomatoes today.

I think the Spanish would have a dicky fit. In Lusaka. I'm away for a few of the Christmas days but then coming back. I often like to get an Indian breakfast as they are quite mildly spiced and you don't have it upsetting the rest of the day.

Fried rice with egg and various vegetables, as well as some finely-chopped tofu "sausage" that I bought cheap and didn't really like, but fine in this guise. It is amazing how much cabbage can disappear into fried rice.

That sounds perfect. I have some fresh goat's cheese; must pick up some smoked salmon...
At markets in Amsterdam, they sell small containers of off-cuts of smoked salmon (small slices) for much cheaper than whole slices. My inner cat was purring.

Didn't make it for breakfast, but some quinoa with fish and vegetables (once again, stir fried cabbage, carrots, sweet red peppers etc). Better after being reheated in the little oven.
